Have namechanged cos I feel stooopid!

I have the implanon contraceptive implant in my arm.

Had sex last night and we usually use a condom as well as I am paranoid about getting pregnant ie I really do not want to!

However, I orgasmed really quickly and DH sort of lost the flow so to speak and sort of ejaculated but didnt quite orgasm iykwim

It was a bit awkward really and DH felt a bit cheated (LOL! Grin)

I had told him to get a condom but it happened to quickly for him to get one!

So the facts are

He doesnt think any semen went into me.
I have the implant in
I finished a course of antibiotics yesterday

Thoughts please!

How long have you had the implant in?

TrillianAstra · 17/04/2011 09:26

Says [http://www.netdoctor.co.uk/sex_relationships/facts/contraceptiveimplant.htm here]] that antibiotics don't lower the effectiveness of the implant, and ta it is iver 99% effective.

I don't quite follow what happened, but I would say that you don't need the MAP.

TrillianAstra · 17/04/2011 09:26

Oh yes, as Rita says, that applies only as long as the implant is within its recommended working life.
