dd wears glasses, she has bad eyesight and a turn in her left eye. she's had them since she was 18mths. ds is only 22 weeks and i've already seen he too has a turn in his left eye. we've been to the hospital today and although his eyesight isn't as bad as dd's, he also needs glasses. when i asked the doc at what age he could start wearing them, she said from now!. it was bad enough when dd started with them, she broke a pair every week!. has anyone else had glasses for a baby this young?

I used to look after a baby who had glasses form 4 months and found that he was actually better than babies who had them later because by the time it occured to him to start throwing things around/started crawling etc was so used to glasses they didn't seem to be attractive to him to play with IYSWIM
