Just been prescribed it.

Does one have any experience with it? Did it work? Side effects?
Thanks xxJacks

No advice, sorry, just really keen to know how you're getting on with it because I am feeling pretty desperate with my acne. Over 30 now so have been told to come off the pill - the only thing that worked - and have been looking online for an alternative. Came across spironolactone today. My docs seem way behind the times so hoping to go to them armed with info.

So far I've only been using it for a few days so no chance to see how it's helping, but it's not makin me feel good. Most common side effects are headache, nausea and dizziness. Oh yes. Blee. And it makesme wee like a racehorse - which of course it's supposed to as it's a mild diuretic. Going to keep on for another week or two but if these side effects don't stop, I'll have to stop taking it, I really feel icky.
