took baba to docs this morning with her cough that she had for weeks

she is recovering from her cold and he said she got Tar at the back of her throat so therefore we will have to put up with it till it gone, but for the past 2 days she sounds like she is losing her voice and cant cry out properly cos of the tar at the back of her throat and it making her sick too

(ive been giving her "Tixylix" as its relieves chesty coughs and catarrh for the psat 2 weeks but not getting any better)

is there anything else i can help her with?

How old? if over three months Medised is very good, which should help the catarrah and for the cough I find most syrups usless and now we just have a spoonful of honey (but I think you need to be over 12 months)

steam ? Either a steamy bathroom or a portable humidifier to create steam in the atmosphere. olbas oil in a bowl of boiling water somewhere in her room.

sorry forgot to mention, she is 13 months old

as the Tixylix is good as she get get coughing but only 3 times she had bought up the phelgm so its just sitting in the back of the throat

ill buy some honey today and give it a go

AND ive been bathing her too... ill try the bowl of boiling water with olbas oil
