SALT has just left. Makaton here we come! We've been using the basics for a while but as Nemo is so expressive with his hands, she thinks that stepping it up a gear will really help.

She also said that his meltdown's and frustration are because up until now, I instinctively knew what he wanted/needed. Now he has new ideas, wants and needs but he can't tell me in words so when I don't know, he blames me for it and lashes out.

Joy.

At least we know where we're up to. She's putting a plan of action and achievement together for him too. Long, rough road to travel ahead but I feel with her support, we'll struggle along it

Hello ladies,

Just thought I would pop in here and say hi again. Will be 25 weeks tomorrow :) Weight wise I'm doing really well, not intentionally, just obviously eating the right amount etc. Although the past few days I've gone into extreme hunger mode!!! Bump is growing lovely, and I've planned on crocheting a blanket for LO for when 'he' gets here. :) Just waiting for the wool to arrive.

Mousey, glad SALT was a help, sounds like Nemo is very motivated to communicate, which is good
