hi MTJ, this is nothing to worry about at all. It may mean that you have a retroverted uterus (fancy speak for uterus facing backwards) or it may be that your cervix was feeling shy and was just difficult to find. I carry out many many female examinations per week and I cannot always find a cervix straight away as they can sometimes be quite hidden. Some women come into clinic saying that 'no-one can ever find my cervix' and bingo, its right there first try during the examination. Its a bit of luck, a bit of skill and a bit of experience (on the examiners part)! But its definitely nothing for you to worry about!

Shouldn't make any difference at all. Lots of women have this and never know. Its just like lots of women are tall and others are small, some are fat, some are thin.
