I know it says 'avoid' alcohol, just wondering about the reality. I wouldn't ask, but I am 30 tomorrow, would like to meet my thirties with a bit of champagne!

I'll be watching this thread, as I did, most weekends, but I don't know whether I should have done!

DuplicitousBitch · 27/03/2011 18:33

yes i did. depends on dosage and how bad you are atm though as alcohol is a depressant

Bumperlicioso · 27/03/2011 19:20

Not sure of the dosage offhand. Just one tablet a day. Not bad, just mild pnd/ not coping with lack of sleep for past 6 months.

I'm also on fluoxetine I rarely drink anyway but I had 2 glasses of wine a few weeks ago and was fine. I don't think a bit of champagne will do you any harm

DuplicitousBitch · 27/03/2011 19:26

you will be fine! happy birthday!

I rarely drink but coincidently I managed to quaff ten glasses of champagne at a special 'do' on the friday and spent the whole day saturday in bed with the room spinning. This is most likely due to the quantity but I didn't feel particularly depressed or anything.
