Any thoughts? It smells the same but the smell is stronger, much stronger so much that since I noticed on Monday I've been able to smell it during the day. Bleugh!

No itching. Exactly the same as normal but stronger smelling.

Bacterial vaginosis.
You need a diagnosis and some AB's

FannyFifer · 23/03/2011 20:23

Where in your cycle are you?

gregssausageroll · 23/03/2011 20:24

No idea what you are on about!

Will make an appointment with GP

Period finished on Friday.

Sorry for the jocular comments. Are you wearing entirely cotton pants, trousers etc?

gregssausageroll · 23/03/2011 20:27

Cotton e-string with my usual work trousers.

I just had to search as didn't know the reference either. Hilarious!

FannyFifer · 23/03/2011 20:27

Hmmm, i sometimes notice a bit of a smell after my period.

Thought BV had a really fishy smell?

colditz · 23/03/2011 20:28

Swap the string knickers for pants - cotton ones.

TheVisitor · 23/03/2011 20:29

g strings are really good at spreading bacteria from front to back. Go back to pants!

Is it possibly a lost tampon? Happens all the time, apparently. Sometimes gets hidden behind cervix?

gregssausageroll · 24/03/2011 20:15

no lost tampon. gp has taken swabs. in the meantime, I've taken a canestan tablet just in case but GP thinks a stronger infection as everything is quite red and angry!

Does anyone know if I can use my simple facial wipes on my fanjo tomorrow at work if I get wiffy?

TheVisitor · 24/03/2011 20:23

No, don't, they'll aggravate things. Spray your clothes with perfume instead.

UrsulaBuffay · 24/03/2011 20:33

Don't use perfume near your crotch though! Maybe just eat loads of garlic tonight and everyone'll keep their distance anyway Grin
