Is the only way to stop it to get the pill? If so is there a particular pill as I don't want to like gain weight, grow hair or anything bizarre haha

I'm next due on the 9th April, will I be able to stop it before then?

My GP put me on something to stop/delay my period for one month because I was going on holiday, I can't remember what it was called Blush but there is something that exists!

Ooo might have to go see the doctor then, they might threaten me with a smear eek!

Noresthisterone!

IIRC you have to start taking it 5 days before you are due - so get to the docs quick.

Ooo thanks PortBlack I'll give them a ring!

you take three a day and when you stop - your period comes on about three days after....so get plenty!

Side effect is excessive hair growth

I have a mirena now - but i don't remember turning hairy while on hols for a fortnight while taking it Grin - at least, DH never mentioned it....

Only thing i found is that it can make you a bit bloated (like you are due on) while taking it - but that makes sense if you think about it....

Ah yes - the werewolf holiday pics....

PortBlackSandwitch · 21/03/2011 17:59

Oh and it's NOT a contraceptive...

juneybean · 21/03/2011 17:59

Haha oh dear!! I'll see what they suggest haha, I'd rather bleed than be hairy!
