Leg pain. New DVT ruled out

Hi,

I am in a desperate bid for some help here.

I have a history of DVT and have had a superficial clot in the same leg.
Anyway, for the past three weeks I have had terrible pain in the same leg. Often so painful I cannot put it on the ground.
I have been to two GP'S and the hospital.
Had D dimer which was high but scan showed no new clot. GP said it was muscular - but I am sure it's not! They also noted some swelling in the leg.

I don't have any visable veins or varicose veins which are apparant but I do have a small lump I have recently noticed with swelling around it so that it makes sort of like a band around the calf. The spot is very painful to touch.(as are other points in the calf) I don't think it is a vein because it goes 'around' not up/down like a vein probably would. It doesnt have any specific colour either.
I don't remember hurting the leg or doing anything to it for it to be a muscular thing.

Can anyone help at all, I am desperate to find an answer to this pain. Its no fun with a toddler and being 9 weeks pregnant.
