little lumps on DS's foot - wart? verruca?

DS is 5 and has showed me lots of very small lumps on the bottom of his big toe. He said it started with 1 lump and then lots came. They dont hurt or itch him.
I dont think its a verruca (from what I think veruccas look like from the one I had as a child!), they kind of look like very small warts.

Is this something obvious? Should I take him to the doctor??

Verruccas are warts, but they are usually squashed flat. If these are at the base of his big toe maybe they are under less pressure and can grow a bit more?

Verruca's can sometimes look like warts. From what you describe they do sound like verrucas, because they multiply quite easily and start off as one.

Take him to the GP and he'll either give you something to freeze them with or a gel. They're not really anything to worry about tbh.

Watch out for others developing on his hands. Hand, Foot and Mouth is rife amongst young children at the moment (if he hasn't already had it!). Mine had it and it looked a bit like little wart like blisters.
