natural alternative to steroids

I have recently had a steroid injection to clear up psoriatic arthritis and it worked a treat.

I did wonder if there are any natural alternatives to steroids I could take? Does anyone know of anything I could try next time I have a flare up?

vit D is supposed to be a natural steroid, worth looking into as often deficient and has been making headlines recently
