I took one about 4pm, and felt ok, a bit light headed, but nothing too bad. Then at bedtime I dind't take another as had no pain but took the Amityrptiline at 7ppm (Haven't had that for months) and felt really bad - sick dizzy lightheaded etc.

However I ahd a fab nights sleep, the best in ages, didn't get woken by pain which is good, however I did feel a bit spaced this morning

How are you now?

I am considering taking 2 co-codamol atm; I wonder if it's something in the air or with the alignment of the planets Wink?

Tramadol did space me out at first, but that wore off. Sustained release is much better as you get a constant dose over 12 hours - really good at nights.

I now use it as I need to for my CRPS

The first time i was given Tramadol was in a&e when i had an ectopic. The doctor injected it straight into my arm & omg i felt awful.
No warning from the doctor that it might make me feel that way.
Within a couple of minutes the room started spinning & i was being sick. I felt dizzy & spaced out, it wasn't nice..... but to be honest it helped with the pain which was the main thing.
I've had Tramadol since then & its made me sick & dizzy but not as bad as when i was in a&e that night.

Better than morphine!! I mean fewer side effects

NoWayNoHow · 04/04/2011 22:29

Makes me really fuzzy, light headed and nauseous. Was prescribed it after knee op, and went back to get something else. Got prescribed Salpadolinstead which works really well without the unpleasant side effects.

is orrible. makes me itch. and puke. and slip into sub-consciousness.

Tramadol made me very very sick for about 12 hours (having taken one, then one and then two over a period of a day). I won't be taking it again. GP then prescribed me Dihydrocodeine which worked well for me, together with diazepam and diclofenac.
