Hi i was diagnosed with ME nearly 2 years ago, im lucky (if you can call it that ) that my daily symptoms are generally pain and tiredness, however ever 5-6 months i crash....hence me on MN today instead of work.

How does ME make you feel?
i sometimes dont know how i will make it through to tea time let let alone be a single parent to two wonderful kids (joint custody), work
run a house
etc etc??

Wow - really feel for you. I've 3 kids, 8, 11 and 20+. I only cope as my dh takes over the house while I crash.

Some days I can cook etc, but today I've cleaned out one of my kitchen cupboards with a friend, fetched Dh from work at lunch time and collected ds from school (takes an hour, normally he gets the bus)

So that's it, energy gone

ime you do what you can pretty much
i became ill in 2002 and crashed from the word go - dcs had to be picked up every day by my mum and she kept them after school until their dad collected them.
it was years before i could do anything for the children obv work was totally out and i was retired due to ill health.
i have had every symptom going - i think you just do your best. Smile

just wanted to refresh this thread after 2 tiresome months off work and now reduced hours due to illness, feeling a bit fed up. As anyone with ME applied for DLA and been successful??
