Hi, strong odour coming from daughters vaginal area, not alway but sometimes. No discharge but just a strange odour. Dont think its an infection not bothering her in anyway but she is aware it is present.. Any ideas ...

Any chance of a little bit of poo getting in there? Do you clean her with wet wipes, wiping front to back?

Dd is almost five and cleaning herself, if she is at home I will always check but if in school or elsewhere do not get the chance, think it that she not cleaning herself properly but I cant see anything on her nicks ... I check the area often and it is healthy and clean looking.. perhaps it just normal part of girls toddler years ...

She just might not be drinking enough and then not cleaning herself properly. Normal 5 year old behaviour.

I would go and see your GP in case she has a urine infection. It may be nothing, but better to check.

You should get her checked out as you don't want any infection to find its way up into the pelvis Sad

A little girl shouldn't smell at all in that area.
