The sun is shining where I am sitting in Brum. Its so lovely to see but I have to go into work now. Sad. I wanted to know, if the sun shines on me through glass will that get me producing Vitamin D or do I need to be outside for it to work?

You need to be outside. UVB does not travel through glass.

you need to be outside, only thing you will get through the glass is warmer.

I dunno...when I had ds, he was a bit jaundiced so mw told me to put him in the Moses basket next to the window on a sunny day.

Well, I'd settle for being warmer lilyliz and hopefully I can get outside for a bit this weekend, Attila.

CeliaFate - did this work for your ds?
