Dry Eyes and the Mirena

Please can anyone tell me if they suffer from dry eyes since they had there coil fitted as I'm thinking of having it removed I also am tired have headaches etc

I get dry eyes and I have the Mirena ....never occurred to me that they might be linked. Sometimes I have trouble physically opening my eyes in the morning... It's a strange feeling almost like my eyelids are paralysed.

Im not actaully answering your question here, but I have had trouble with the pill drying my eyes, and as a contactlense wearer it is quite bad, leading to headaches etc. Its a strange one !!

Sharon2609 it's not nice is it I think it must be the hormones.
I'm having mirena taken out on Monday so I will see if it improves.

Let me know if it makes a difference.. I cant believe I didn't make the connection.... Thought I had some sort of weird eyelid paralysis!
