How new a mum are you? Cut yourself a little slack, enjoy being a mummy and just eat what you fancy. You have enough stress in your life right now!

My DD is 18weeks, I know but i feel rubbish (Anaemic still i think) so i need the energy boost hense the chocolates, sweets and crap!

I enjoy every second with my baby. I just personally feel so lethargic, and just end up snacking on the wrong things

Are you breastfeeding? I ate all the time when breastfeeding a small baby, had to have food on the bedside table for the middle of the night, real sweet cravings too. I read somewhere that sweet cravings means your diet is lacking in protein, not sure how true that is...

Get some nice dried fruits, I eat dried mango, and dried apricots are full of iron so will help with anaemia. Easy to pick at and my best tip is, if you don't buy it you can't eat it.

Get some iron supplements. There's one called floradix I think which is an orange drink.

Your DD is so tiny, I expect you're stuck to the sofa most days? Give yourself a break :) I found I started eating more healthily when we started weaning, I did baby led weaning so DS ate "normal" food from day 1. I would concentrate on making balanced meals for him and I just ate the same.

I eat sooooooo much been exclusivly breastfeeding for 6mths now and just started him on solids no cutting down on milk yet though

I lost so much weight I had to eat to put some back on- I eat toast or teacake or crumpets for breakfast same with a banana about 10am, lunch (usually left over eve meal) at 12ish, chocolate bar and/or crisps around 2ish , 4ish I have teacake or biscuits or crumpets (sometimes all 3 yes I am a pig!!), 6ish main meal and then 8ish I have pudding/cake (sometimes fruit!).

you need an extra 500 calories when breastfeeding
