SLight name change here, see if you can tell who I am, but trying to be a bit more subtle. Wink

basically, had ahem, relations with DH (naturellement!) last night, afterwards, felt a bit peculiar, internally. had a bit of a rummage, could not feel anything, but odd sensation. Odd feeling all morning, like that feeling when you use a tampon, but it's not in properly or is coming out.

had more of a rummage, can feel quite a lot of the threads of my coil. I can never ever usually feel them, this is my second coil, and I have never been able to feel the threads. Definite sensation of feeling something in the top of my foofoo.

been to get MAP and going to try ot see doc tomorrow.

Feel quite uncomfy and crampy

worth seeing emergency doc for removal tonight?

half tempted to see if i can yank it out, but also worried I might do some damage. but is' very odd feeling

i had this feeling and went to the dr, who told me it probably had just moved, got back to normal pretty quickly - think only dr can really tell

Cough while lying with your legs akimbo - I did this when I had a coil check and it shot out - apparently when they are loose a good cough will often shift them.

You should not be able to do any damage if it is already halfway out as the wingy bit collapses inwards.

ant3nna · 27/02/2011 16:40

I've had this before but it seemed to relocate itself after 12 hours or so (the cramps are probably your body trying to put it back in the right place). I think if it starts to get really painful then you should get to the emergency docs to have it looked at.

whomovedmychocolate · 27/02/2011 16:41

If you can feel it - it's not in right. Maybe a trip to the out of hours service is in order?

Imightbelulumama · 27/02/2011 16:43

ok, will try the coughing/legs akimbo later !!!

feel quite headachey and a bit woozy, might that be the MAP? or am i just being silly?

it's been 18 hours or so since started to feel something not right, so i don't think it's going to pop back in

righty - ho, am off out, so thanks for all your input and I will check back again later

thanks xxxx Smile

right, just got in. no change, still feels really uncomfortable /crampy, but not got any worse, no bleeding or anything, feel quite headachey and dizzy still but DH home soon, so might try coughing and see if that expels it.

well, I went to get checked, all is well, it's where it should be and I can't really feel it now. Hmm bit backachey though, so going to keep an eye on things, thanks for all the advice x
