ow! cs scar pain 2.5 years later

I've felt the odd twitch or pulling sensation under the top layer of skin about 2 inches up from my CS scar for the last 2.5 years, and assumed it was the internal scar. Last night I felt a really sharp stabbing pain to one side as I turned over in bed, as if something was tearing, and today it has alternated between feeling quite stingingly hot and sore near the top layer of skin (particularly after eating), and milder pins and needles tingling.

I'm not doubled up in pain but I do feel a bit concerned that I've torn or stretched something inside. I'm hoping it's going to go away in a few days - how else can it be checked out? Any other experiences like this?

I get ovulation pain now just behind my scar which I never had before my c-section. That can feel like a real stabbing pain leaving residue tenderness for a day or so. Whereabouts are you in your cycle?

probably bang in the middle. But I've had that too and it feels more like generalised period pain for a day or two. This is more local and nearer the surface - it felt like I had tugged at a muscle when I turned over.

I have a keloid scar and have been prescribed a pad to wear over it it which should alleviate the pain that I get from it. The pain didnt start until I got pregnant - I think the skin stretching agrivated it. called haelan tape - you can also get cica care pad to place over scars which will alleviate pain when you need them. they can be washed and reused several time - kind of a silicon look to then - very discreet.
