Does anyone else have problems with blood sugar and/or borderline diabetes?

Just wondering how you manage your diet

I have migraines that are linked to my diet. If I go too long without food, I get a migraine so have to eat fairly regularly throughout the day.

Since I discovered this I have put on lots of weight Grin but also had virtually no migraines (every grey cloud lol...).

I have bought several of those GI books but I'm looking for some real advice. What do you eat as snacks? How do you make sure your blood sugar levels are keeping relatively stable?

I have cut out all extraneous sugar (like sugar in drinks and fizzy drinks, sugary cereals).

Nuts are good, but just a small handful. A piece of cheese, just the size of a matchbox or cold meat eaten on its own.

Porridge is excellent.

The GI books are good, if you eat foods with a low GI you will see an improvement.

Thanks Anna. I think I need to be more disciplined re portion size.
