Asthma worsening - wwyd?

Hello,
Just looking for a few quick opinions - thank you in advance.

I have had asthma all my life and it is usually well-controlled by relievers/preventors. The past few days though I have been feeling qiote tight-chested and wheezy. I have doubled both inhalers but they are not making that much difference. I don't have a cold or any other symtoms at the moment so it is unusual for me to be like this (usually I get wheezy when I have a cold).

I'm reluctant to go to doc as we live abroad and it's, um, a bit of a challenge.

Although I'm an old hand at asthma, so to speak, I'm a tad concerned about this. Thanks.

Thank you Pixie - that is exactly what I did. He has given me a spacer, a stronger dose Becotide, steroids for 3 months and another steroid for 4 days Confused

I'm glad I went. After 32 years of asthma I ought to trust my instincts!

Grin @ giraffe

Get thee to the doctor! I am already feeling much, much less breathless.

Well, I managed the doctor here in France - so assuming giraffes in the UK she REALLY has no excuse!!
