Mirena coil and blood clots

Hi there can anyone advice?? Had my Mirena coil out yesterday and have started to bleed this afternoon rather heavily. Have also had some rather huge blood colts around 1-2 inches in size!! (sorry for the rather gross description) G.P didn't mention this and said I may even not have any bleeding at all!? Has anyone else had this after removal of their coil. Any advice welcomed. Thanks

Hi, I m on this website to see if anyone feels the same as me. I have just seen your message about your symptoms and I am the same, I have been upset and worried about the amount of heavy, heavy bleeding and really large blood clots. I cant give you any advice but obviously these symptoms should be advised by the doctor. I am hoping it all settles down soon because I am so tired and exhausted through all the bleeding :(

So glad you found this post because I've had 2 weeks of this since having mine out. Been stop/start bleeding but some huge amounts and starting to really get me down Couldn't find anything online but might contact the doc if it doesn't settle down soon. Hope yours calms down soon too..
