Female Sterilisation any after effects?

Consider being sterilised and was wondering about recovery time and if there are any after effects ie weigh gain, low sex drive?

I felt like I had been kicked in the stomach after my sterilisation, but that was all. I was back at work in 2 days.

No weight gain, sex drive the same as always, except I didn't have to worry about getting pregnant.

All they do is tie or put a clip on your fallopian tubes so does not affect your hormones at all.

Thank you agedknees I was hoping my hubby would do it but he just keeps putting it off.
