Hi girls,

I've just come off the pill (3wks ago on tues) and i've still not had af. Its been 31 days since my last af.

I'm now getting stabbing abdominal pains - feels like someone stabbing me with a needle from the inside out.
It hurts if I stop myself going to the toilet for more than about 5/10 mins.

I'm peeing more than I ever was.

i've got clear runny CM now (TMI Sorry)

I'm out of ideas, I've asked some of the girls on the TTC thread but I think they're out of ideas now aswel.

Could be a UTI or cystitis - do you have any stinging when you go to the loo?

Gomez · 13/10/2005 14:15

Ovulating?

mumswish · 13/10/2005 14:17

no, just hurts in my Womb (I think) area if I dont go straight away.

I was expecting it so sting or something but got nothing, eases off abit as soon as I go. Thats why I'm confused

Gomez - Ovulating 31 days after an AF? Surely that would make my cycles about 45 days long. Thats not right is it?

I bloody hope not.

I used to get that with ovulating too. (Also got it in first 6 weeks of pg. Pain was on one side tho.

Gomez · 13/10/2005 14:19

But haven't you just come of the pill so last AF wasn't a real AF and so need a wee while to settle down. Just a thought -sorry.

WigWamBam · 13/10/2005 14:20

It could be ovulation pain - your cycle doesn't always come back straight away after stopping the Pill.

mumswish · 13/10/2005 14:20

I know they're not proper AF's but still assumed that I'd only have about 30 days between them, didnt realise it took so long to get back to normal.

Dya think thats prob what it is then? Ovulating? I'd rather it was that than cysts! LOL

so if I am ovulating, doesnt that mean I've missed the boat for this month ye?

OP posts:
WigWamBam · 13/10/2005 14:24

Took me 13 months for my periods to come back after I stopped taking the pill ...

mumswish · 13/10/2005 14:26

o shit, Good job, I managed to persuade DF that I needed a few months for my body to settle before we ttc

As long as its nothing serious. Should I go check with docs anyway. Or are we all confirmed on it probably being ovulation pain

I'd just keep an eye on it for a couple of days - if it continues for more than a day or two then see the GP in case it's something else.

mumswish · 17/10/2005 09:41

well, I had it all weekend but it seems to have eased up a bit now. I still get it now and then, have to go docs now anyway so I'll mention it when I'm there. Thanks
