Is there anything I can do to stop my nose streaming?

My nose is getting sore from blowing/wiping it and sniffing is not an attractive thing to be doing.

How can I reduce the amount of snot mucus being produced?

Nothing - snot is protective. However you can try some Sterimar which is a sterile saline spray which clears out all the snot (it is quite impressive the amount which will come out). This can also help dry out your sinuses.

Also ask at a pharmacy for NoSore - which is a green stick (looks like a chapstick) but it's designed specifically for sore noses that have been blown once too often. It's nose balm believe it or not and it's fab.

Thanks WMMC

(although the thought of it all coming out at once is a bit scary....I'd probably drown in it!)

I use sudafed tablets - they are magic.

Snot might be protective but it's not nice at night, or at work, or when cooking, or reading bedtime stories, or when shopping or ever really!

Nah it's great - you stick it up your snozz, press and sniff and then hold one nostril and blow it all out into the sink.
