Help with sore fanjo, possible bartholins cyst?

Blush I know I'm going to have to go to the doctors tomorrow anyway, so I'm looking for any help to reassure me or give me a clue what might be wrong. I'm about to get over familiar so turn away now if such things offend Grin Over the last few days I've had loads more discharge than usual, very very slightly green tinged and a little bit foamy or curdy. Because of the curdy bits (and tbh wearing jeans that were far too tight at the weekend) I assumed thrush and took caneston duo last night. Maybe I am expecting results too soon but it's not helped, I am still having way more discharge that usual, and am itchy Blush I just braved a look in the mirror and it looks like at the entrance, towards the bottom end so to speak is a red swollen bit just inside. A quick google tells me this might be a bartholins cyst? After 2 dc I am a bit ragged (if only you could see me blushing right now Blush) so I don't know if this is bit is normal? Maybe it got irritated by the jeans? I only had an STD test 7 weeks ago as me and dp went together. I have no reason at all to suspect anything nasty in that respect, so what do I do?? I hate internals at the best of times, but tbh I haven't actually had myself checked out since dc2 was born nearly 3 years ago. Would a nurse think it odd if I asked them to check things were ok down there? I refused stitches and really have regretted it since. I know this is a bit garbled but does anyone have advice?

I should say too, on reading that back, that me and dp have been together 6 months, but only recently sleepign together, hence the STI tests.

Bartholin's cysts aren't usually accompanied by odd discharge (green, smelly etc).

You should def get it checked out.

Oh balls. Thanks though :)
Am kind of hoping it will magically disappear but it's doubtful isn't it? Could it be (this is maybe a stretch) a reaction to new washing powder?

It could be really bad thrush. Have you scratched it? (sorry to get so personal!). It might just be that your skin has got really irritated and broken.

It could be a Bartholin's cyst, it just doesn't sound that typical (I had one for years - ick!).

But I am not a doctor. Get yourself down there pronto tomorrow (or GUM clinic). Good luck.
