I have just recently visited my GP because ever since i have had my DD (who is now six months old)I have been tired, forgetful and permanently in a daydream.
He has told me i am to have a blood test and he gave me some vitamin tablets to take.
I was hoping the vitamin jar would say what type they were so i could get more from the chemist but they didnt.
does anyone know what type of vitamin helps for the above symptoms?

Gosh, that sounds a bit odd.

I would go back to the GP, you can either get a repeat prescription, or at least find out what you've been given. Is there no name on the jar you could google to work out what it is?

Spatone Iron is very good for tiredness. Take it with vitamin C and don't take it just before/after drinking tea or coffee.

What do the vitamins look like? Perhaps they're vitamin B6, they're often prescribed.

They are small little black rubber like things. they seem to taste like marmite and butter lol!

Sounds like "Vitamins Capsules BPC". They're just a generic multivitamin that can be given on prescription.

Any one-a-day multivitamin would be the same but you may be better if buying some, to get multivitamin and multimineral (A to Z, etc) as the minerals can also make a difference

I take multibionta and they seem okay. I do feel better when I'm taking them.
