Pre kids my cycles were irregular. Beyond 28 days BUT always within 35..

Then after I had kids they seemed to settle into more of a regular pattern.

The last few months they are irregular again. BUT never beyond 35 days. Today im on day 40 Hmm.

Would you be worried..? Dh and I are having unprotected sex but not going out of our way to conceive iykwim..Hmm.

I dont feel pregnant nor do I feel like im due on.
Health wise I wouldn't say im overly stressed, Im desperatly trying to loose weight (links back to not activly ttc..!) and I guess im about 1.5-2 stone overweight.

WWYD..?

I guess I could do a test BUT I just know im not pregnant so im reluctant to do one.

Should I be worried about lack of AF and when should I seek medical advice..?

TIA X

just do a test, thats the quickest way to see, they are only cheap, ie 2 for 1.99 at wilkinsons, i was really sure i wasnt preg with my second as i didn't feel preg at all,no sore boobs etc, in comparison to how i felt with my 1st pregnancy there were no symptoms so i nearly fell over when i saw i was, any way, my advice would be just do a test, its the only way you will know one way or the other, then you can get on with your life accordingly, i hope that helps

Shhhh · 02/02/2011 11:50

thanks funkydubs. I have a test upstairs but to stubborn to do it Hmm.

After having 2 kids I assumed I would know if I was/not lol Grin.

I know I should do one but part of me says different Hmm.

You are right though.Guess it gives me one answer.. if im not pregnant should I be concerned..? I mean lack of periods.. is it a worry..? just been reading about menopause.. geeze that can't be me at 32..?!

i wouldn't have thought menopuase, i would think pregnant...

..go and test and come back and tell us Wink

funkydubs · 02/02/2011 11:58

yes go and test and come back and tell us, my periods are all over the place sometimes. i think i am in the peri menapause. dont be worried if not preg and period late, there are lots of harmless explanations, our bodies are weird sometimes and thats all there is to it, any way i hope you get the result you want.

Shhhh · 02/02/2011 12:09

Right, I thought I had a spare test but could only find the innerds (iykwim) of a digital (i think) test and its 2008/09 Hmm.

Bloody 'el I always Hmm at fellow mner's who appear so vague !

Anyway, I did it.. atm I can only see one blue vertical line.. negative..?

off to google !

Shhhh · 02/02/2011 12:52

Yes it was out of date ! Lol at your reply ! Tbh I don't mind if it was positive , just I really wAnted to shift a bit of weight before we had baby 3 ..
I will see how things go over the next few days . By the looks of things lack of period is not worrying ?

My periods have vanished and i've done a few tests - all negative - but the doc seems to think it's stress related. If i don't have one this month im going back.

So, are you stressed?

ThaliaKeith · 02/02/2011 14:50

I would try again with a pregnancy test that is in date tbh

Shhhh · 02/02/2011 15:03

thanks TK, will get one when Im next at supermarket... although im sure af will just appear Hmm.

MrsRH, Im not aware of being stressed.. iykwim... I have been worse.
Maybe im subconsciously stressed Grin
