i started feeling dizzy on Mon evening - if i putmy head to the side the room would start to spin. And when i went to bed the room spun when I shut my eyes like it does when you get back rom the pub Grin

Since then i have been a bit lightheaded and headachey.

last week I had a rotten fluey cold and since then (tMI warning!) I have had copious amounts of yyellowy-green snot espeially from my right nostril.

If i google it i willl find out i'm dying so thought I'd ask mn Grin

apologies for dodgy one-handed typing

Possibilities that come to mind are sinusitis, and labrynthitis...?sp?, neither fo which are too serious, but both of which can make you feel rotten. Pop and see you gp. Hope you feel better soon.

Is it worse if you lean forwards, this is a typical symptom of sinusitis?

Ooopsadaisy · 26/01/2011 20:46

Hey Wallace.

I've had a weird headache all day.

I just want to lie down and my right eye hurts.

Been taking Anadin but it just won't shift.

Felt quite dizzy in the car and had to stop for a while. People have said I look a bit stoned all day (I'm not - honest!!!)

Hope you feel better soon.

Hello - could it be vertigo? I had this a few months ago. Whole room spins when you lift or turn your head. Dr gave me some exercises (Cooksey Cawthorne) to do and some medication. Something to do with grains of sand in your inner ear being upset. Can be due to virus.

I had it twice - a few months apart. Seems to have gone now. Even though I didn't get round to doing the exercises.

Horrible though, poor you.

Hope you're feeling better oops - stoned is a good way to describe it.

sparkle - it did a bit when I had the cold, but not now

emmy, thanks. Don't know about vertigo because not dizzy anymore.

I might go to the gp next week :)
