Glue Ear & Grommits in 1 yr old

anyones dd or ds suffered and grown out of it without needing grommits. My ds hearing is affetring his developmetn. wanted to hear others story

was she a very catarry baby , as my ds has a runny nose congestion all the thime.

my dd had glue ear at about a year old which probably cleared within 6-9 months. didn't affect her developmentally (though it was only one ear).

bcause there is a question mark re my ds speech but i am not sure where the drs are to pro - grommits as they need to practice so am so unsure . good to hear thst your little uns have not been affected and the speak oky ?

yes, dd's speech is very good. though, actually, m taking her to GP on Monday as she's been saying "what?" a lot recently and says her ear feels bunged up. so maybe it's come back....hope not, but will let you know.

hes in pain as he keeps pulling his ear a little happier on calpol its such a shame,
