Weakness/Pain in my hands

KatyMac · 23/01/2011 10:14

I've been having pain in my hands (& feet) for years

I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (diagnosed in 95 & in general remission)

The GP says it is when I don't have anything else to worry about & I concentrate on them; but I'm not so sure.

It has got gradually worse over 3 or 4 years and I am now noticing a loss of power when cutting (scissor or knife) carrying bags and today manipulating files (OU course)

So any ideas other than 'don't worry'

hi katy. have a look through this link.www.mumsnet.com/Talk/general_health/1105040-Could-I-have-mild-ME we are all suffering in similar ways. i cant hold hairdrier up to do hair in one go. arms get weak, hands arent as strong...cant lift heavy pans and im knackered when i go up stairs some days. i feel as though i have got hot painful gloves and socks o my hands and feet and often go to bed with a cold flannel to put on my hands. in a warm room they burn insde and sometimes go all red.

Maybe it is just my CFS
that's a long thread

I guess rheumatology might be a good idea
