Hairy legged 11 yr old!!

I have noticed that my ds aged 11 has suddenly become very hairy Arms a little but his legs a lot more Is this normal at his age?I tend to worry about everything and am just after some assurance really as I have to take him for a heart scan and I can just about cope with that without there being something else wrong with him!Thanks

not sure if this is relevant but iirc dh said he developed a lot of body hair around that age. He was very tall for his age, & he reckons he also stopped growing around then (think this is exaggerated, but mil did say he was v tall in primary & then everyone caught up, & overtook him in secondary). He now has extremely hairy legs, but hardly any on chest.(I prefer it that way )

thanks berries ds is not particularly tall and just hairy legs nowhere else

My husband was very hairy from about this age, legs particularly and started shaving early (though not at 11) - pretty sure there's nothing at all to worry about on that score.

thanks for your reassurance no plans to shave them but may keep waxing in mind as a threat for the current incessant answering back!
