Burns, scarring and how to help healing pls!

Recently I burnt my rather flabtastic postbaby tummy on the iron, don't ask how as I couldn't tell you - one minute as I was just ironing and the next minute....

I kept the 5cm x 2cm burn covered with melanin (is it that?) to stop the blister popping but being where it is in a rather desperate bid to use the loo I popped the blister accidentally.

It has now dried out somewhat but is itchy and has patches of dried blood. What do I do (I don't feel this is something I should be seeing the dr about btw) do I cover it, do I put some form of moisturising cream, I have no idea about burns!
