How to stop 3 yr old picking her scabs !

My 3.5 yr old DD had some mosquito bites on her face which she scratched and have now turned into big scabs on her face. She won't leave them alone and they are getting bigger and sorer each day. I keep telling her and have tried to put plasters on them (with extra tape!) but she keeps taking them off. Night times are the worst and I'm now worried she'll be scarred for life. Any suggestions please?!?

bloss, has your DS's scab gone yet?

dd has eczema and is always picking scab also worse at night sounds extereme but as a last resort i have to put socks over her hands ant tape them to her sleeves.
