Help anyone knowHow long to keep DD off following loose bowel movement

Hi all my DD is normally really healthy but has had a series of very loose bowel movements bordering on diahorea, with long gaps of several hours (other wise completely well!) is the current recommendation 24 or 48 hours to be off school? I have tried the schools website, the county council, the department of health and the department of education all to no avail!

At my DS's junior school the guideline was two days from the last lot of diarrhoea and or sickness.

48 hours from the last one is the rule for DS's reception class.

48 hours at our nursery, not sure about school but i'd follow that rule for DD1.
