Is loose poo a side effect of amoxycilin?

DD has just finished a courser of this and all week her poo has been loose. will it clear up quickly, and is it just a side effct? she is fine but nursery might not take her back with loose poo. if i can explain why, it might be ok.

Abs often upset the stomach as they kill the good bacteria as well. Sometimes giving probiotics helps.
