lump on my hip

Hi I have a fatty lump which is round and moveable, it is right on top of my hip bone. Do you think it is just a lump, or should I go to see my GP

I've had one in my buttock for decades It's got a name, but I can't remember what it is. I thnk it's somthing you only need to worry about if it grows or if more start appearing.

The name suddenly came back to me: lipoma. I think you can safely google it .

My DH has one on his arm and it's what PrettyCandles says, but he did get it checked just in case. Any lump's worth getting a Doctor to look at I'd say.
