I had a flare-up of teitze's on boxing day which has only just subsided. as a result I have been taking 15/500 co-codomol 4 times a day and 800mg naproxen 3 times a day. Ive stopped taking them now because the pain isnt as bad. unfortunately, this has co-incided with my period. I have been feeling dreadful. I feel sick and have a horrendous headache that is stopping me sleeping. In fact I can barely focus, I am also suffering terrible mood swings and am either sobbing or furious.

my period started yesterday and I still feel dreadful.

any thoughts?

I regularly have flare ups of back/ shoulder pain that require codeine tablets, It helps to wind down slowly after flare up otherwise I get a really on edge feeling / jumpy just like pms so e.g go from full dose 3 times a day to half dose twice a day to half dose once a day etc

naproxen is great for period pain
