Hi, my DS took a course of antibiotics for a throat infection and ear infection between Mon and Fri last week. On Thurs, dr said throat is still red and glands still up but ear infection gone. Same story today. He is on and off drinking milk ok and seems fairly happy but is projectile vomiting approx once a day- 5-6oz worth of milk each time . He has refused all solids for 12 days.
I am going out of my mind. Dr has prescribed some diff. antibiotics but left it up to me to decide whether to use them or not. If I get them that would be the third set in his 9 month life!
Would be interested what anybody thought about a) whether I should give him more antibiotics, and b) what are the long term effects of giving lots of antibiotics.
