Not period pain (despite having period) - very different.

very low down

feels like pressure inside. sitting down feels like something shooting right up inside.

Not constipated- went yesterday. Not UTI - dipped wee in work.

really hurts and kept me awake a bit. really really hurts if poked.

Fibroids?
infection down there?

TheLogLady · 06/01/2011 07:04

don't think infection. mooncup contents normal.

try a pad instead of the mooncup to see if it change anything.
Is the pain too low to be the ovaries?

AttilaTheMeerkat · 06/01/2011 07:13

Endometriosis cannot be ruled out here.

Do see the GP and ask at that time for a referral to a gynaecologist (these problems are outside a GPs general remit).

i'm used to period pain and ovaries hurting mid cycle - it doesn't feel anything like my 'normal'. will take out mooncup for a bit - good idea.

Period pain and ovarian pain mid cycle is also very suggestive of endometriosis. Any symptoms that are cyclical in nature and get worse up to and during menstruation needs to be properly investigated.
