flu jab - can you have it while breastfeeding?

Just wondering - seen lots about having it no problems if pregnant but nothing mentioned about breastfeeding.

ds is 2 and I'm having real problems getting him to drink cows milk so he still gets a night feed - whole other thread I know - but just wonder if I am safe to have it whilst breastfeeding him - and if it is different that he is not a tiny baby IYSWIM?

Yes it's fine to have whilst BFing; it is an inactivated vaccine.

Belated thanks Musukebba, that's good to know. Jab made me feel pretty rough the next day (or could just have been a coincidence) but meant I forgot to come back and say thank you!

Yes, I have had it and as the name suggests, I am breastfeeding. Grin Perfectly safe, as Musukebba says it is inactivated. I also like to think that I will be passing on some of the immunity I will be aquiring so even better!
