I have woke up this morning with a bad cough and chest tightness .

I haven't time to be ill.

There is a cold/chest bug going around, i have it and so did 20 out of 30 cast members of our panto.
Its a bad cough, cold symptoms.

Oh no. I am getting quite panicky with my breathing. I feel I am going to be wheezy.

Are you normally asthmatic? If so, have you had the flu jab? Because if you are asthmatic and if your GP expects that you may have swine flu you may be prescribed tamiflu in accordance to the most recent guidance from the Health Protection Agency, published recently.

Yes, I have asthma but it isn't severe. I haven't had the flu jab. When I have had it before I have had a bad reaction and been ill so have been reluctant to have it again. I am feeling a bit better now.

There are lots of nasty bugs at the mo, swine flu generally involves a high temperature.

I don't have a temp.

I think it is just a cough with a weird feeling in my stomach.

Flu normally comes on vry quick whilst a cold usually gradually buids up.

With Flu (and Swine Flu) you can feel fine at 7pm and like death at 8pm. With a cold it gets worse ovr a metter of days.

I am suffering with a damn wful cold atm. I am hoping it has peaked its worse and now I am on the slow mend.

Perhaps today you should stock up on some cough medicine etc.

I have some buttercup syrup. I have a weird feeling in my throat now but that is more to do with something else I have wrong.

Only 2 hours and dh will be home and I will have some peace.

We have all had a really nasty cough and achey-bones feeling here. I could quite happily cancel xmas and spend the day in bed so I know how you feel Dose yourself up and you'll get through it x
