Just spent 4 days in hospital with kidney stone!!
Did you miss me? I am so totally jinxed, I got them in Cyprus in 2005 and had them 2000 too - I have joked so many times I was due to have another one this year....
I didn't make in to Lanzarotte in the last snow which is now a blardy good job cos I would have had the stone move & block my kidney in the air or abroad.....
I had surgery yesterday which disappointingly didn't manage to pull the stone out, Mr Consultant stuck a camera up, then a grabber and then couldn't even get a laser wire thingy up there so had to leave a stent in to drain my kidney and get that working. However, the stent should stretch it all so I can go back in 2 weeks for them to try again!!
I am due to fly thursday to Las Vegas for Xmas and just kept going on and on and on to everyone that I must be fit to fly and I have been given the Ok YEEEHAA!!
Just rang my travel ins co and they are charging me £14.98 extra, however they took the opportunity to re check the other halfs medical details......... his newly diagnosed high cholesterol and smoke status?? and extra £139
