I have this bad cold/mild flu thing that is going round. DH has something as he has been asleep most of the day, DS3(2) has a cold, DS1 has a cough that made him sick this morning so was off school, DS2 started coughing this evening.

Does this need checked out? (me primarily and then each of the DCs and DH as and when they need it) am asthmatic and using my inhalers more - although i do anyway when it's cold. I also don't drive and the DRs surgery is 20 mins in no snow. Probably 40 mins with the snow that there is on the route i would have to take. (40 there, 40 back) Assuming i can get an appt that is - they are like rocking horse poo anyway never mind in the snow and near xmas!

Sounds like the viral bug that has been going around so not much a dr could do. Ring NHS direct maybe?

That's what i thought. ABout the virus that is. I do feel a bit better today compared to yesterday. But i have HAD to IYSWIM?

Nothing the drs can do- it sounds viral.
usual stuff- keep warm, drink lots, eat well, rest etc etc.
I had the viral thing early in Sept /Oct and it took me 4-5 weeks to shake it off.
