I had my ds 2 weeks ago. Great natural birth, tiny episiotomy. Felt fine, no pain at all, could go to loo etc no problem, midwife said it was healing perfectly.

A few days ago I started to feel odd down there. Heavy, swollen, tight. I had a quick look but can't tell what I see except there's a swollen bit of outside lip of vagina - like a cyst. Or prolapse? Can't tell

Should it be like this 2 weeks after i.e feeling worse not better? Should I bother going to doc before 6 week check up. The midwife said the stitches aren't infected

I was very sore and swollen for a few weeks with DC1 but not getting worse. I think it would check with your GP if you are feeling worse than before.x

I had what sounds like a similar thing after episiotomy, for me it was tissue granulation where the skin over compensates when trying to heal and grows too much new skin. Doc just removed it, it was fine.

Go to your gp and get it seen to sooner rather than later, you need everything to heal nicely and get back to normal. Keep going back, I did, I saw a nurse, a doctor and another docter before finally getting referred to consultant. They just kept saying it was the stitches healing but it wasn't at all. Good luck, PM me for any more info.
