Since I've stopped breast feeding (about 7 months ago) my period has always been around the 22-24th of the month. October, I didn't come on until the 6th of December (so like 14 days late). Me and my dh HAVE had unprotected sex since, around the 3rd December (in correlation to my period) so I expected to come on around the 6th December (due to last month). However, nothing. It is now the 12th. I took a pregnancy test on the 7th (thinking my period was due the 23rd, until I realised it was late last month). Regardless, late period or not, I'm 6 days later than the original later period.

I've googled it and everything has said MENOPAUSE or PCOS. I'm 24, so menopause is unlikely, and I have no symptoms what so ever of PCOS.

So what are the chances that my period has jumped from a 28 day cycle to a 33 (which I'm willing to accept) but now it's jumped to a 40 day cycle according to the calendar. Is it likely I'm pregnant?

Sorry if it doesn't make sense, I'm confusing myself.

6th December meant to read 6th NOVEMBER in the first 2 lines....!!

So instead of the 23rd of October i came on on the 6th November.
