DD2 is now 11 weeks old and has caught a very bad cold. she has blocked nose, chesty cough and is a little subdued, no temperature. But she is also sweating alot on her head and clammy skin although feet & hands are cold. She is still very interactive and still smiling. also not sleeping more than usual.

We are taking her to the doctors tomorrow but need reassurance and advice about the clammy skin & sweaty head ....

thank you...

Um, I am NOT a doc, but sounds a bit like a flu-ey cold - the sort of flu where you get a sweaty temperature one minue and shiver with cold another?

Babies' feet and hands are often cold - something to do with immature circulatory system IIRC? Wouldn't worry too much about that. But see what your doc says... hope it's something not too worrying.

I wouldn't worry too much if she has no temperature, just keep an eye on her. Could be her body's way of dealing with the virus.
