S.C.I ? anyone have any info on this?

My DS school are arranging extra help for him, they called it S.C.I (i think) to do with his lack of communication skills (he is suspected of having mild autism) Does anyone know anything about this are can direct me to a website.

They will also be calling in a languge phyologist (sp?) what is the difference between the 2

Not sure, but could it stand for "Social Communication I.....".

I'm sure someone will be along soon with a much better idea than me.

They did tell me what it stood for, but have forgotton, I may have got the letters mixed up or wrong, but C for communication was one of them.
