I had a nasty, painful rash all over after I had dd, it lasted for ages and ages, and I still have one patch left even now, and dd is 4. I didn't find anything that got rid of it completely, but I found that aloe vera gel was very soothing and helped with the itching.

when i was pg, i had a heat rash all over my back and its still there and on my arms but the rest of my body is clear

Try the aloe vera gel, it's really soothing. Another thing to try (and don't laugh) is nipple cream. My dh gets horribly sore, itchy hands and the only thing that works for him is nipple cream (I have no idea why he thought trying it was a good idea but it works for him!)

I have been itching dw's back on more than regular occasions since she was pregnant with dd1 (over 2 1/2 years ago)
Think i'm getting a repetetive strain injury

well, went to docs (eventually as ive been so busy!) and he had checked my hair to check for nits which i havent got any but is all red and rashy and ive got some dertemis under my skin so had been given Capasal therapeutic shampoo for imflammed allergy scalp, cetirizine tabs and eurax hydrocortisone cream for my skin as its looks like ive got heat rash all on the back and arms.

I got itchy shins when i was in my first trimester. Drove me nuts. And i think they are on their way back. Mainly at night. Drives me nuts! Think it's just dry skin. Hope yours clears.

I also broke out in hives and a rash shortly after giving birth.

Was prescribed hydrocortisone creme and when that alone didn't work was also prescribed oral steroids. BUT, I was not breastfeeding, either.
